On a Road bike wheelset with disc brakes, both the front and rear wheels have significant dish. With traditional rims, the rim is centered (or dished) by decreasing spoke tension on one side relative to the other so that the rim is pulled into center. ■ Internal&external nipple systems available With the experience gained on our MTB hubs, we now launched our range of road-bike disc hubs. We managed to build the front hub below 90g and the rear hub below 191g. ■ Nitro BEARINGS: Bearings are a very small part of your bike, but play one of the biggest roles in terms of its performance. The life expectancy of a bicycle component is highly correlated with the life-time of the bearing, which is used in the product. With our experience, we are able to offer a bearing solution which lasts longer than a standard bearing. The black surface treatment on the NITRO-bearings makes them less prone to rust. Improved sales reduce the probability of water and humidity getting into the bearing. Further more, we used high end grease which protects the inner structure of the bearing and assures a very good lubrication. Hand-Built Each DEEROBUST hand-built wheelset is assembled by a highly trained professional from lacing, turing to precise spoke tension balance, which lead to the strongest wheel possible while keeping weight at a minimum. In order to ensure that DEEROBUST rims not only meet international safety requirements but also comply with additional and higher quality standards, we use SGS and EN 14781 standards when manufacturing the rims. What is the difference between UD, 3K and 12K carbon finish? What is the difference of Matte or Glossy finish? UD, 3K and 12K specify the carbon weave pattern. 3K means there are 3,000 filaments per "tow", 12K means there are 12,000 and UD means unidirectional (no pattern). There is usually an option to choose between matte or glossy. Matte results in more stealthy look, glossy will make the pattern pop. Can I have rims without nipple holes in the rim tire bed?
